The breakfast was a really nice surprise, with plenty to choose from and fresh bread and croissants. The hotel has a small, tidy garden, clean bedrooms, and friendly staff who live on site. They even helped us get a room 1.5 hours after closing at 21:00, which we were very grateful for. It’s a quiet spot with a lovely countryside view. For an affordable short stay near the highway, the experience was very good for the price.

The shower was the best part, with warm water and good pressure. The rest felt dated and dingy, and the thin walls meant you could hear conversations in the corridor. At the front desk, the clerk tried to charge us for breakfast after I said we weren't eating there, then tried to give me .02 cents back after I paid 2euro for the 1.80 city tax. It wasn't the worst place I've stayed, but everything else was substandard.

We had good service and the place was very clean. They really tried to get past the language barrier, though English was almost nonexistent. The young woman at the desk was the only one who knew some English, so Google Translate can help with the main difficulties. There’s no air conditioning, so check the night temperature before booking. We didn't, but got lucky with a maximum of 18 degrees C that night. It might sound like I disliked the stay, but actually I do recommend this place if you take precautions.

The room felt new and smelled fresh, and the toilet was very clean. Really good breakfast too. I'll be back.
