Premiere Classe Herblay

Lidl is right across from the hotel, and it was very quiet at night. The reception staff were lovely, always smiling and ready to help.

We booked three nights and left after the second. The night staff were alright, but the morning receptionist, especially the woman, mocked and laughed at us for not speaking French. She was rude and racist, cut us off while we were talking, then answered the phone. We struggled to understand what she said because she spoke only French, and it felt like she was doing that on purpose. The shower was tiny, water went everywhere, and my bigger friend couldn’t fit in it. The bed covers were stained with something. There was no ventilation, and the window opened onto a corridor where people could see us, so we had no privacy. The light didn’t work and the Wi-Fi was extremely slow. We paid for breakfast but weren’t told how it or the hotel worked, and we didn’t get breakfast on any of the days. The station is an 18-minute walk away. Don’t be fooled by the description, the airport was about two hours away. Don’t visit if you don’t speak French, unless you want to ruin your vacation.

A good budget choice if you’re out most of the day. The rooms were clean but basic, and reception staff were very helpful. Lidl is across the road, with Japanese and Indian restaurants within a two-minute walk. The station is about half a mile up the road, with RER C trains going directly to many parts of central Paris.

I had the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and my stay abroad was the best hotel experience I’ve had. I’ll definitely stay here again, and I definitely recommend it.
