Dinner tasted nice, but it wasn't very hot and seemed expensive for what it was. Breakfast was OK, though no one showed us to a table or told us the food was in a side room. The staff seemed a bit bored and weren't especially friendly. The Superior room felt tiny and not very superior. We had to go up outside stairs in pouring rain, and the window looked over the car park and motorway. Hot water took 15 minutes to reach the shower. We called reception because we thought something was wrong. Not the best Logis we've stayed in.

We were able to use the outdoor pool during our overnight stop on the way south through France. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel's location was convenient. The restaurant was closed while we were there, apparently for seasonal reasons, but the receptionist booked us a table at a nearby restaurant.

We paid 107€ for one night while trying to rest and eat before a long drive to southern Spain. I hadn't noticed the restaurant closed on Sunday, and nobody mentioned that the bar would be shut too or that the hotel would have no staff at all. It's miles from anywhere, so we drove 40km round trip to the nearest supermarket in Nantes for food and drink. The room was awful. The curtains were much too small for the windows, leaving us visible from outside and letting in the morning light. Even though it was effectively self catering, we only had paper cups and no fridge. Breakfast was edible, but the bananas were well past their best and nearly every tiny plate was chipped. The grass hadn't been cut, and the place generally needed some TLC. I don't understand how it's classed as a hotel with no reception, bar or staff. I'd avoid it at all costs.

My car was being fixed at a local garage, and a staff member even drove me there in the morning to pick it up. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location was easy to reach and surprisingly quiet, despite being quite close to a main highway.
