I was disappointed by how impersonal the place felt, and nobody was very welcoming. When I spoke to a man I presume was the chef, he was very rude. I could hear noise from downstairs in my room, and at 10 am I felt I was almost being thrown out, even though the cleaning ladies finish at 11.15. It seemed obvious they weren't used to tourists. I don't recommend it.

The evening meal was good, with simple, tasty dishes. Breakfast, though, could include more local produce. In such a beautiful region, I’m sure there are artisanal products available at reasonable prices. Booking was a bit complicated, but the reception and service staff were very pleasant and friendly. The room had a typical 2000s design. There was mold in the bathroom, and the nearby road and soundproofing could be an issue. Even so, the other guests were commuters too, so it stayed quiet, and traffic eased off quite quickly in February. I’d give it somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. In any case, thank you for the warm welcome.
