The homemade jams and yoghurt made breakfast especially nice, and the warm bread was lovely. We were greeted warmly, and our clean, beautifully decorated room was wonderfully quiet. A lovely one-night stay in a peaceful, renovated water mill. Thank you.

A really special breakfast, with homemade jams and yoghurt, croissants and more. This lovely little four- or five-room B&B is beautifully restored, and the rooms are great. Wow, superb. A great place to stay for a few days or when passing through.

The homemade breakfast was fabulous, and there was great local food and a good choice of drinks. Set peacefully in the countryside beside a stream, this beautiful old water mill is decorated with real taste. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. An exquisite spot for a country break. We’ll visit again!

I especially recommend it to anyone walking the Via Francigena. I was cycling the VF, and they let me lock my bike in their garage and gave me a bucket to wash off the trail dirt. I chose the table d’hôtes and enjoyed a tasty meal in a family setting. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a good shower. The hospitality was genuinely warm.

We arrived in the dark and rain for our booked three-night stay, 12 to 14 Oct '20, and found the hotel closed, completely dark, with no response to our knocking or calling. A local man gestured that it had shut, fini. For a while, we thought we'd be sleeping in the car. Luckily, after searching Google, we booked into the Calais Hotel de la Page and had a nice stay there. It wasn't the countryside break we had hoped for, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Quite a shock for our friend, who had an immigrant climb into his roofbox on two consecutive days.
