It’s wonderfully peaceful here, with a beautiful view. François and the rest of his family are caring, really nice hosts. He knows the area well and had plenty of ideas for places to visit and things to see.

We enjoyed several hikes in the forest nearby, and there’s plenty of interesting WWI history in the area too. We stayed in the Gite from Friday to Monday and had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully built and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We felt very welcome, and the sauna and swimming pool were wonderful extras. We highly recommend it and hope to return!

The family owners are extremely hospitable and communicate so well. You can tell this place is their passion. We rented the Gite and found it really nice, with a well-equipped kitchen, refrigerator and small freezer, good beds and linen, and cleanliness throughout. Highly recommended. We’ll come back next time we’re in Alsace.

The outstanding views and fantastic accommodation made our weekend at La Petite Ourse (chez François and Violaine) such a pleasure. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy the SPA or pool, or explore this beautiful part of Alsace, so there’s plenty for a return visit. The warm welcome and everything else were perfect from start to finish. Thank you for making us so comfortable, and we wish you lots of success with your new venture.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing, the hosts were so welcoming and nice, and both the fantastic breakfast and the room were just as good!
