2/10
The room was extremely basic, but the mattress was the real problem. It sagged toward the middle in a U shape, like a truck had driven over it several times. I had to wedge pillows underneath to get it more or less level. I usually don't mind what a room is like for one night, but a decent mattress is the bare minimum, and this hotel couldn't manage that. If you think you're booking a Best Western, don't. It's some knockoff franchise.
8/10
Having parking right outside the room door was ideal for traveling, and there was a little veranda outside too. The beds were good, the staff friendly, and the food was great.
10/10
Just the right place for an overnight stop to split up our trip.

The meal was absolutely brilliant. If you're from the UK and expect the usual chain hotel food, this might make you realize how poor the food back home can be. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday to a really warm welcome, even though the hotel looked very quiet. Sorry our French was so limited, but the host was accommodating and we managed to communicate and enjoy it. We'll be back. Magnifique!
4/10
Breakfast was plentiful and quite good, the one bright spot for me. The rooms weren't clean, the bedding was poor, and the staff were unpleasant. This hotel clearly doesn't deserve its 3 stars. It wasn't a good experience, so I don't recommend it.
