Veronique and Jose were so lovely and accommodating. They made it feel like we were friends staying at their home, and I’m glad we chose the place. It’s quiet and in a terrific spot, close to the harbour, shops and restaurants. The private room is detached behind the owners’ home, cozy and basic, with a tile floor, stone wall and wood ceiling beams. There’s a kettle and tea, a hair dryer, and soap dispensers by the shower and sink. The room with the shower and sink is spacious, but open to the bedroom with no door between them. The separate WC is tiny, and a tall person might struggle to sit with the door shut. The bed was comfortable, though I find the firm, square French pillows difficult. There’s a TV with French stations and free wifi. A little courtyard has lovely roses around it, and I sat at the table there with my tablet early one morning.
