We booked at the last minute, and the place seemed quite abandoned. The room was very dirty, the bathroom wasn't clean, and the sheets on one of the single beds hadn't been changed. It was on the ground floor, with an entrance from the garden. Getting our luggage there from the parking was quite an adventure because the path was very dark and had no lights. The room looked very different from the website photos, which was disappointing.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with lovely views, and there's plenty of roadside parking. Breakfast was basic, and it's an easy walk to the village centre. We loved the villa once we worked out how to get in. Call the number on the sign above the gate and someone will open it.

A characterful place in a quiet spot close to the centre of Honfleur. The proprietress was lovely and helpful. I'd recommend it.

We left after just two days because the place was being renovated and the stay was terrible. I hope the work is finished now, but I wouldn't go back.
