Lautre Maison Honfleur

We liked it so much that after opening the room door, we decided to add another night. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it's only a short walk from the marina and town center. Breakfast brought to the room in a picnic basket was amazing. This place has real soul. Highly recommend!

La Maison de Honfleur was just what I wanted for a quick escape from Paris, and I already dream about going back soon. The room was cozy and unusual, and I hated having to leave. Breakfast in a basket outside the door was beyond wonderful. Christiene, the owner, was charming and sweet, helping us find parking and offering ideas for dinner and things to see. Loved every minute.

Our month-long trip through France had its worst stay here. We were traveling while working remotely, but the advertised wifi didn't work. When we asked, we were told it never works. We explained that we needed it, so we had to leave. We were told there'd be a refund for the cancelled night, but since then we've had no communication at all. The property felt very inhospitable and dismissive toward English speakers. Other guests seemed to be dealing with similar problems.

The breakfast was superb, and the place itself was an amazing spot to spend a night in Honfleur. It had an authentic Normandy feel, with a super cozy, comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff.
