I showed up for a booking I’d made online and found nobody there. Only after going back online did I notice the place was marked closed. Sitting around in 33c heat was pretty miserable. Not happy.

Being able to put all our wedding guests up on-site was such a pleasure, and the lake made the venue feel almost magical. The interiors and grounds are both beautiful, with an unusual sense of authenticity. I’d highly recommend it.

The reception hall is lovely and well suited to a wedding, and the setting is peaceful. There’s accommodation nearby, which is handy if you want the evening to carry on. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had our ceremony on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The location itself is magnificent for a wedding, but the rooms were very bare and disappointing. There was no hot water, the shower head was broken, and an alarm went off during the night that couldn’t be stopped straight away. I really think the buildings and rooms need a full maintenance overhaul.
