The food was delicious, with the chef's choice and everything made in-house for both dinner and breakfast. The meal was lovely, though expensive, and there was no menu choice. Dining chairs weren't comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were very small, like a Kiriad or similar, and there was no soundproofing, so we could hear other guests using the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a comfortable indoor spot for a drink when it was too cool to sit outside, rather than having to use the dining room. Service was pleasant and friendly, and we did enjoy our stay despite the few negatives.

The country was in lockdown because of the virus, so there were very few people around and it was really quiet 😀. The owner was awesome, and the homemade food was delicious.

The food was really good, and the service was just as lovely. A lovely place to stay.

The managers were upfront that they’d only recently taken over and still had a few adjustments to make. They seemed committed to doing things well, though, and we’re cheering them on. We’d happily come back. We spent a very pleasant weekend here as a family with our two children, on a half-board package with dinner and breakfast. We ate very well, and found the father and daughter who run the place welcoming and friendly. The website was being updated and didn’t yet capture the warm atmosphere in person, so we’d suggest contacting them directly.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty to choose from, including local cheeses, cured meats and jams. We also enjoyed generous meals, a friendly and dedicated owner, and being so close to the sea. It was a fantastic overnight stay and a lovely discovery, especially since the hotel had recently changed hands.
