Chateau De Grosfy

The room was comfortable, and the hotel had a really pleasant feel. Pierre was so friendly, which made our stay especially enjoyable. We had a great time and would happily come back.

We were glad to return to the Chateau for a second stay, and even got the same suite. The kids were offered bikes to ride around the lovely grounds, where we could wander through the different areas. Pierre and the team gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was lovely too, with warm pastries, homemade jam, and the friendly company of the other guests. We hope to stay there again on our way back during this holiday.

Pierre made us feel very well looked after, welcoming us warmly and taking time to chat. The French breakfast he prepared in the morning was absolutely delicious and a great start to the day. We spent one night at Château Grosfy, and its charm and character made the stay feel magical. The place is beautiful and full of atmosphere. It’s a hidden gem, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, memorable stay in France.

We stopped here on the way to our holiday and again on the return, it was that good. After a long drive from Leeds and the tunnel, it’s a perfect distance for a break. The place was so peaceful and relaxing, and it’s very dog friendly. Pierre was a brilliant, friendly host. His home and grounds are beautiful, and when we arrived late, he helped us by ordering food for our evening meal. We’d definitely stay here again.
