The garden was scruffy, with the grass left uncut, and there wasn't a shower. The owner kept slamming the door beside our room.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the setting was quiet and relaxing. We got a warm welcome from the owners, plus useful tips for walking our dog nearby. We only stayed one night in this charming former priory, a lovely 15th-century building with lots of character. Great value, too.

We stayed one night in this big, beautiful house. You can tell it has a soul.

The hosts were so friendly, and the little village is adorable. We had a fantastic weekend with our cousins. There’s plenty of space, and the whole place is enclosed, which felt safe with the children. Go for it!

Breakfast was simple but had everything we needed. The hostess was really friendly, and we enjoyed a nice chat. This felt like a stop outside of time, an authentic place tucked into the countryside in a typical little village. Thanks for keeping places like this going.
