The owners were very friendly, and the pool was lovely. They brought a generous breakfast to our apartment, with fresh pastries, bread, jams, and fruit. The B&B was spotless and beautifully kept, in a handy spot for visiting Chambord and other châteaux. They speak French only, though someone can be found to help if language gets in the way. Andre and Nicole clearly take pride in the tasteful furnishings and decor.

Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade jam and yoghurt, croissants, fresh orange juice, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and eggs, all plentiful and fresh. André and Nicole were ready with plenty of useful ideas for places to visit, and welcomed us warmly. Our room was comfortable, modern, and spotless, with a great shower. It’s a superb base for seeing some of the Loire’s best châteaux. We’d definitely return.
