The staff were super nice, and the decor and atmosphere were really cool. Sunday brunch came as a full buffet with a hot drink, seafood and oysters, prawns, salads, cheese, charcuterie, bread, eggs, bacon, and more. The sweet spread was our favorite, with tiramisu, crème brûlée, cakes, pancakes, fruit, pastries, and plenty else.

We've been coming for Sunday brunch for a few years, but the standard has really dropped. There was less choice and too many people were admitted, so the trays were always empty. They'd run out of cups and spoons, so coffee came in a glass without a spoon. Then we waited 30 minutes for cold coffee. Such a shame.

The setting is nice, and the roof bar is a good spot for an evening drink or two. The new waitress on her first night was fantastic, upbeat and a real breath of fresh air. Sadly, our restaurant experience was poor enough that we complained to the manager, and we won't be returning. I hope they review the menu and put more care into it so others have a better meal. I've eaten at plenty of Greek restaurants, including very basic places that serve tasty, authentic food at sensible prices. This wasn't one of them. The waiter who started serving us couldn't smile. The tzatziki they brought out was very poor and not something a Greek would serve. The chicken was rolled into a ball, cooked without seasoning, and had no flavor or effort behind it. The hummus was paste-like, the pitta and bread were dry and not properly warmed, and the aubergine and okra seemed mixed with tomato paste, making them sharp, acidic, and unpleasant. Too many restaurants get away with average or below-average food. Maybe I'm fussy, or maybe people just don't bother giving constructive feedback and asking for changes.

A cool, fancy spot in Hyeres right by the water ☀️. The DJ booth has a sick Palladium soundsystem, and it sounds amazing.

The room was tiny and worn, with stains even on the sheets. The toilet was inside the shower, as the photo shows, and open to the room beside the pillow. I've never stayed in a worse hotel. On our second night, the hotel was privatized. We couldn't use any of the shared spaces, including the roof, and the restaurant was closed to us. The music from the roof directly above our room was unbelievably loud, and the room vibrated. When I complained at midnight, I was rudely told nothing could be done. At 1:30, we gave up, left the room, and slept in our car. We spent the next day exhausted and devastated, waiting around for the manager. When he arrived, it was the restaurant manager, the same person I'd spoken to at midnight, not the hotel manager. I showed him the recordings on my phone with their timestamps, and he couldn't have cared less. He blamed us and said we'd been informed in advance, but couldn't show any proof. We'd only been told the dining room would be closed on Saturday, certainly not that we'd be subjected to this kind of hell. It was torture. We had a dangerously long drive ahead with no sleep. We had to pay the full 400 euros and weren't even offered a drink as an apology. We canceled all our Sunday plans and just wanted to get home and sleep. This experience is incomprehensible, and I'm shocked it could happen. Please don't book. Go to the lodges îles d’or instead. It's beautiful, the service is kind and professional, and the price is hardly different, though the experience is worlds apart. It also has an amazing restaurant. In retrospect, we were relieved the restaurant here was closed. Having read the reviews since, it sounds as dreadful as the hotel.
