The evening meal was tasty and nicely presented. We had a spacious room with a pleasant renovation and a rather luxurious bathroom. There's a lovely garden to relax in, with a swimming pool, too. The place is ideally located on the Veloire cycle route.

The Loire and the beautiful surroundings are right nearby, and Iguerande is an 'accueil velo' starting point for cycling routes. We had a great two-day stay in this lovely nineteenth-century villa. The rooms were clean and very spacious, and there's a nice pool in the yard. The owners bought the house just six months ago, yet their hospitality feels completely natural, as if they've been doing this for years. They make delicious breakfast and dinner with local produce from the farmer(s) next door. Au revoir!

We found Clos Marie through Restaurant de la Loire, and it was such a joy to have a gourmet evening without worrying about getting home afterward! :) After a fabulous meal, we were taken over to Clos Marie and welcomed warmly into a charming setting. Our hosts were attentive and helped us keep that relaxed feeling going. We only wish we could have stayed longer. It was a lovely break from our usual too-fast pace of life.
