The park-like grounds had us feeling on holiday from the very first day, and the location made it easy to find plenty of things to do and see. Ty Mat is a great choice for a Morbihan holiday. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and happy to help. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was superb. Thank you, Vielen Dank, Merci et KENAVO!

Breakfast was a real treat, generous each morning with delicious jams, cheese and charcuterie, all arranged with such care. We had a homemade pastry on each of our five mornings, and a different one every time. The late 19th-century feel gives Ty Mat a special charm, and the hosts were lovely and very kind. The place is idyllic and wonderfully quiet. Even the two donkeys and the dogs didn't disturb the peace. We had a delightful stay and will definitely keep this address in mind.

We had a really good night's sleep in the Empire room. It was quiet and well soundproofed, and we never heard the guests in the other three upstairs rooms. The room was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, a single bed and a view over the park from the window. There was no TV, but the Wi-Fi was useful. The four dogs greeted us along with the friendly owner, and we met his wife later. Laika, the adorable little Jack Russell and place mascot, played ball in the park across from the manor with our teenager. Breakfast was generous, served inside or overlooking the park, and there are lovely walks around the area. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of this unique manor house during our August 2022 stay. In peak season, you need to book at least four nights, which gives you time to visit nearby attractions such as Terres de Nataé Zoo in Pont Scorff, Poul Fétan village in Quistinic, the canoe rentals at Lochrist Whitewater Park, and Hennebont Park. A couple of things could be better. The bathtub had no shower curtain, so washing was awkward and uncomfortable. The bathroom worked, but its dark brown walls made it terribly dark, though that comes down to taste, as the photos show. It had no window, unlike the blue room, which would have suited us better in that regard. With the high temperatures in early August, a fan would also have been welcome. The owner cleaned the bathrooms each day, made the beds and changed towels as needed.

The breakfasts were homemade and regal, and the rooms were comfortable, simply furnished and in good taste. Our hosts were extremely kind, discreet but attentive. Mathieu's very British humor and Catherine's cheerfulness were especially appreciated. Set away from the beaten track, it's a peaceful, magical place surrounded by authentic nature, open spaces and forest walks. We'd be happy to return to the cottage or B&B next time.

The room was comfortable and had a lovely view, and the breakfast was sumptuous. Catherine and her husband were so kind and hospitable. The house is beautiful, full of history, and the place has a peaceful, magical feel. Everything was perfect during our unforgettable three-night stay. We can't wait to come back with our children!
