Madame Vacances Les Chalets de la Diva

Incompetence, seriously? We arrived at night and were given directions to the hotel before three intersections, with no clear indication which way to go. We were greeted pleasantly and promised a generous, all-you-can-eat breakfast with croissants and a buffet. Then they offered us room 3, which was already occupied! We went down two floors to room 1. It was overheated, at least 30°C, and there was no way to bring the temperature down quickly, so we slept with the window ajar. There was no bedside lamp for reading discreetly, though at least the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had been announced for 8:00 AM the previous day, but it turned up at 7:30 AM by chance, and they confirmed that was the time. The breakfast itself? Five jars of jam, no little dishes, and a man in a down jacket serving us one portion of orange juice, one croissant and a piece of bread each. There was a breadboard beside the jam, but no bread or knife. We went to the bar for bread, and when we came back a second time, they handed it over again but said customers had never eaten so much before. Apart from jam and some cereal, there was no buffet like the one promised the day before. As we were leaving, we were told the buffet had been "forgotten" by the manager, who apparently wasn't used to it. If he still doesn't know how to run the place since it opened on December 5th, he should find another job. And to cap it all, the bathroom tissue box was empty. We couldn't even cry...
