Villa Charline

I want to flag a serious problem with how bookings by email are handled. I booked in November 2025 for March 2026 and received written confirmation. I still have the messages clearly showing that the booking was agreed. When I checked in two weeks before the planned date, I was told it wasn't valid after all because an alleged barcode hadn't been sent. Nobody had ever told me about that requirement before. If I hadn't checked, I would have turned up with nowhere to stay. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of professionalism.

What a rip-off. You get a room with no toilet, and the shower is right there in the room. Towels for the bath cost extra. Breakfast is €15 for a small drink, mediocre bread, and a croissant that's been overcooked. The owner is unfriendly, complains constantly, and leaves guests on their own for hours. I'd go somewhere else.

The meals were exceptional and the facilities were top-notch. Charlie was so kind and helpful, and we were treated like royalty. A superb experience.

The dog sledding was a highlight: lovely, well-trained dogs and a magnificent walk through nature. It felt like a gentle adventure, great for animal lovers and curious people alike, and I'd happily recommend it. Charline and her partner were warm and attentive from the start, so we felt at ease right away. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks again for their kindness and for sharing such a lovely experience 🙂
