Hotel Inn Design Issoudun

We spent 8 days here and everything was great. The front desk staff were pleasant and knew their stuff, the place was super clean, and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. Parking was easy, shops were close by, and the price was excellent. Loved it, would definitely recommend.

A clean, cheap spot that works well for a night on the way somewhere. The front desk guy was pleasant. Our bed was a mattress on a hard wooden base, so it was firm but okay for one night. The bathroom was small, though sufficient.

We only booked here because our car had trouble, and we ended up needing a second night while it was being repaired. At reception, we were quoted €32 and given a bill, but the card machine wasn’t working, so staff asked us to come back and pay later. When we returned with the bill, a very rude manager refused to honor the €32 and charged us €41 instead. The place felt more like a prison. We were so relieved once the car was fixed and we could leave. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was very clean and the staff were helpful, and you can pay extra for breakfast or dinner. It’s handy for a stop while travelling, but for a longer stay near Issoudun I’d look elsewhere. There’s a TV, bed, chair, and a shelf that could serve as a desk, but no fridge or microwave. The bathroom, especially the shower, is tiny.
