Hôtel Restaurant Campanile Issoudun

The Wi-Fi was the one real downside. Its strict firewall blocked some websites and popular apps, so keep that in mind if you rely on fast internet. Otherwise, I was satisfied: the helpful staff were ready to assist, the clean, comfortable room made it easy to relax, and the hotel is near the city center in a quiet area. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety.

I really appreciated that the restaurant always had a vegetarian dinner option. My room was clean, with the basic amenities, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Dinesh, the proprietor, and his deputy Arjun took great care of guests and were always smiling.

The room was small but fine, and breakfast was good with convenient hours. The staff were friendly and helpful. Noise is the issue: the walls are paper thin, so you can hear people walking above, below, or beside you, as well as conversations. Before I left, the cleaning lady found my power bank and ran out to return it. Thank you very much.

My room smelled of old cigarette smoke, and cheap air freshener seemed to have been used to cover it up. The place felt rough, and it’s on the outskirts of Issoudun with not much nearby in the way of restaurants or bars.
