Olivier went out of his way to make our stay pleasant, and breakfast was lovely. We felt as if we were in a chateaux in the city, with all the little details making the place much nicer than we expected. The metro is five minutes away for getting into Paris, and there’s free parking behind a secure gate. A lovely place, and I’d recommend it for a more upgraded stay in Paris.

The apartment was dusty, and insects and bugs were crawling out of the ceiling. We weren’t sure it was safe to shower because the shower handle was electrocuting us. The owner advised us to pay for another room to move, even though this wasn’t our fault. A very, very badly placed stay.

There was loud construction in the lot directly below our room window. Both rooms had dirty bathroom towels, and the shower floor was dirty with large clumps of hair. Check-in was meant to be at 3 p.m., but our room wasn’t ready until 4. The wet stairs were a major safety hazard, with no warnings or signs from staff. There were no elevators, and nobody offered help with the luggage.

The location is far out and inconvenient, and the bathroom was in bad shape. The water didn’t flow, and it was dangerously electrocuting. The place was disgusting, dirty, dusty, and full of bugs. The careless, greedy owner refused to do anything about it. A major disappointment. The owner should stop doing business for the sake of travellers. The worst place ever, beware and stay away!
