We’ll be back! The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, and we got a warm welcome. It’s a lovely spot among nature and animals, right by our Bordeaux-Netherlands route.

A lovely spot, with a tasteful farmhouse-style house.

The village is a ten-minute walk away, and the animal park is just one minute on foot. It’s wonderful. The cottage is as lovely as people say, warm, cozy, unique, and superbly maintained. Our two-year-old felt at home right away. It’s very peaceful, with a lovely terrace. Sheer curtains would be nice during the day, since walkers came over to take a closer look twice :)

A very enjoyable stay, highly recommended! The welcome was wonderful, the comfort was excellent, and the little touches were much appreciated. We had breakfast on the terrace while llamas and kangaroos played less than 100 meters away, a dream come true for a two-year-old. This little haven sits in the middle of the village’s small zoo. Janvry is a unique village to discover in summer, with a beach and pool at a village farmhouse, or in winter, when it has a ski resort!!!

The walk in the woods with the nearby farm was fantastic. We loved Vincent's warm welcome and the cottage’s peaceful atmosphere, and spent an excellent night at the Isba des Bois in Janvry 🥰❤🙏. It was a chance to reconnect with nature and forget the stress of the city. We’ll be back! Thanks again 👍
