The views from the chalet over the Savoy Alps were incredible, and it was so peaceful up above Saint Jean. We spent a week cycling there in September, and the place was just right for two. Everything was clean and cozy, and Nicki and Steven were lovely, friendly, and always helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, from porridge and home-grown vegetables to homemade pizza. A special hello to Marguerite.

Le Petit Chalet Leard was a wonderful place to stay, and the rates were very reasonable. We spent four fabulous days cycling in the French Alps, and our hosts Steve and Nicky took care of everything we needed. They were great company too, and the food and accommodation were excellent.

The view is a dream, and the whole place has such a welcoming feel. This was our second time staying with Nicky & Steve, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. They greeted us with a welcome drink, then treated us to a delicious meal. Breakfast was fantastic too. Nicky & Steve are wonderful hosts.

The nearby hiking and snowshoeing trails, the quiet surroundings, and that incredible view were just what we wanted from a holiday in a typical mountain chalet. We had a magnificent four-day stay in the old chalet. The hosts were so attentive and kind, and we'll definitely come back.

The meals and service were impeccable, and the hosts were warm and kind. We had three relaxing days and two nights in the charming little chalet, though unfortunately we had to shorten our stay. We'll definitely return to see the mountains covered in snow in winter. Many thanks again to Vicky and Steven.
