We had a wonderful week, and the owner was attentive and really friendly. The village has a lovely feel, though shopping is limited to one bakery, where there can be a queue and you may run out of bread, plus a small convenience store. Barcelonnette is a better bet for groceries. There's also a lake with activities close to the cottage. We rented the whole cottage. Eating together in the first-floor living room or out in the garden beneath the trees was lovely. One small thing to know at night: the upstairs cottage's toilet is on the same floor as the living room.

The two apartments are well equipped, and having them separate gives families some privacy while still making it easy to share meals and time together. The owner was friendly. My one gripe was the heating: the radiators couldn't get the temperature above 15°C, so we had to use the wood-burning stove. Pellets cost extra on top of the electricity bill, so expect a small additional charge at the end. That wouldn't put me off going, though.

Everything we needed was there, and the accommodation was very clean. The owner's son welcomed us, he was helpful, friendly, and really nice.
