The outdoor bar was a fun, relaxing spot, and service throughout was lovely. Breakfast had lots to choose from, with Madam bringing fresh coffee. Dinner was a set menu, and the chef kindly accommodated my nut allergy. The classic French dishes were all delicious. We came as a group of drivers to enjoy the mountain roads, and the location worked perfectly. Our rooms were clean and well organized. There doesn’t seem to be AC, but a fan was provided; in August, opening the doors brought in fresh air and kept things cool. I’d love to stay again.

We came for one night after finding the hotel by chance, and Robert arranged to have my dirty car washed. The food was spectacular, and there was an extensive wine list. Our room was superb, with a lovely outlook over the garden and mountains, and the pool and outdoor bar were very cool. Robert and his team were superb. We’ll be back and stay longer next time. Thanks for a great stay. Steve and Jan.

The food is absolutely outstanding, and the outdoor bar has fantastic views. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, with lovely grounds and a pool. We’ve stayed in rooms 4 and 201 on our two visits. Both are beautiful and well equipped. I’m looking forward to coming back. Thank you.

It was a pity that the wind meant we couldn’t have our aperitif in the garden, especially with such a great selection of spirits. The restaurant more than made up for it: refined food that wasn’t boring, a wonderful job by the chef, and impeccable service. The owner and staff did a lot to make our short stay enjoyable. The place itself is beautiful, and the rooms are nicely appointed. Ask the owner about its history, it’s worth hearing. We’d definitely love to visit again.

After a long day cycling, we got a very warm welcome and settled into a lovely modern room in the new annexe. Dinner was delicious, especially the asparagus. A really comfortable night was followed by a morning swim and a glorious breakfast, then we were ready to climb Col d’Bonnette for another day in the saddle.
