We left the next morning after a very uncomfortable stay. The man at the property got angry, and with the language barrier the situation escalated. It felt as though he almost threw us out of the apartment. The room was spacious but very dark. We arrived in the evening and wanted to cook, but the kitchen smelled strongly of mold and I didn’t feel comfortable using it. We couldn’t lock the door when going out for dinner, so we had to take our valuables with us. The bed and mattress were very old and too short, with our legs sticking out, and I started feeling unwell from the mold and had trouble breathing. Communication was difficult from the start because staff spoke little English. The photos and good reviews had looked promising, but this was a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is ideal for getting around Provence by car, close to Gordes, Rousillion, Apt, Cavaillon and Opedde. The rooms had air conditioning, the pool was clean and great for summer heat, and the bathroom was a decent size for our family of 4. Breakfast was decent too. There were lots of bees around the breakfast area, but they seemed harmless and didn’t bother us. Just be careful on the stairs leading up to the bed on the top floor.

The place and pool are nice, but there were missing lights, and the shower lacked a useful soap holder and adjustment. Getting to the bed on the top floor means bending at 90 degrees, which was really hard.

The place looks fantastic and the staff are very friendly, but the rooms we stayed in had an awful, strong mold smell. Too bad. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Friendly host, lots of birds, and a nice pool. It was kind of hard to find your way around if you’re not local.
