Le Domaine des Prés Verts & Spa Vinésime

The peaceful countryside is full of farms, with cows and sheep grazing in the fields under the watch of herding dogs. The old stone houses are beautiful, and I loved the idea of a hotel village tucked inside a village. Such a lovely place.

Our room had no view, despite what the online photos led us to expect. Still, everything else about the stay was wonderful.

A chic little hotel and spa surrounded by nature, with a lovely French touch. It felt naturally restorative.

The food was the one part that fell short of the rest. Room service had a good concept and the food tasted fine, but the dishes felt quite classic and offered little surprise. Le Bistrot des Prés Verts served very good quality food, though the bill seemed a bit high for what we got. The walk to the village is charming and takes you through a beautiful corner of Burgundy, but it's about 20 km from the accommodation, which could be a drawback in bad weather. Everything else about Domaine des Prés Verts made us feel at home. We were captivated as soon as we arrived by the peaceful setting and the thoughtful, tasteful details. The comfort and harmony of the place were exceptional. The staff were kind, attentive, quick to respond, and welcoming throughout, making the stay feel special from beginning to end. Despite the restaurant being less exciting than we'd hoped, the experience was still impeccable and we highly recommend it. We'll definitely return, and would happily stay longer next time to enjoy the estate, its amenities, and more of the Burgundy region. We can't wait to visit again.
