Residenz Mas de la Bastide

We had a superb time at Mas de la Bastide. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, which was a bonus. We rented the clean, air-conditioned "Le Clapas" cottage. The only issue came during very hot spells, above 35 degrees Celsius outside: the air conditioning didn't cool the mezzanine, so sleeping there was difficult.

The Clapas cottage had comfortable beds, and its layout gave each family some privacy for meals and relaxing outside. During our afternoon naps, all we heard were crickets. The photos matched the place perfectly. Mas de la Bastide is lovely and very peaceful, reached by a charming, unusual little road. We had a wonderful week there. The pool area works well for everyone, with three pools to choose from. Nearby, there are villages to visit, plus canoeing, quad biking, cycling and hiking. Thanks to Angelina for the warm welcome.

The setting is magnificent and the pools are lovely. Each cottage has the comfort and privacy needed for a great stay. We were only there for three days, but already want to come back. Thanks for everything.

With two families at Mas Barbouillet, we found a beautiful, clean, well-appointed place, and the view was magnificent. The hosts were genuinely welcoming and helpful. The dog park attached to the house was especially practical for our dog, who can be a bit aggressive with other dogs. We stayed for a week in April, and another week would have been easy to fill with all the nearby places to visit. The hardest part was leaving! We couldn't try the restaurant because it opens at the end of April, so we'll have to come back.
