The walk around the grounds was lovely, and later we had a gorgeous multi-course dinner with local Beaujolais and a good chat with the host. After the long drive, we’d been welcomed warmly and had time to settle into our canopy-bed room. It was the countryside and local culture I’d hoped to enjoy. We visited Frederic Berne wineries the next day and were very pleased. Wish we’d had more time there. Highly recommend.

The room was spotless, modern, and stylish, a lovely surprise in an old mansion. It made for such a peaceful stay in the Beaujolais wine valley, with that authentic French village feel I was looking for. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it.

We had a lovely few days in this authentic French village. The owners were so hospitable, and their medieval house in the Beaujolais district made it a great place to stay. Definitely recommend it.

The morning pastries were awesome, and the hosts were nice. The location is beautiful too. The mattresses felt much too soft for me, and breakfast was vegetarian. Also, take care not to get lost after dark.

Such a peaceful, beautiful spot, and the host was amazing. The house has everything you might need. Bring GPS if you’re planning to explore.
