We loved spending more than two hours over lunch here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back with friends when we’re in the area. Wendy and Fred made us feel welcome right away, and they were attentive and caring without interrupting all the time. There was a good selection of homemade dishes, cooked and presented beautifully, with explanations of what everything was. Wendy’s a fantastic chef, and Fred’s a delightful waiter. What a fabulous meal, thank you both.

The dinner on the terrace was a real pleasure, sitting outside in the shade with drinks. Breakfast was extensive and very well prepared, and the food was awesome. We stopped for one night on our way to the Costa Brava in Spain, and Wendy and Fred gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It’s a lovely little hotel in Jumeaux, in the heart of France by the Allier river. We’d love to come back.

The children loved staying here and didn’t want to leave, and honestly, neither did we. We were on our way to the south of France, but decided we must return and stay longer to explore the Auvergne. Fred and Wendy gave us incredible hospitality, with delicious food in a beautiful hotel. Thank you both for an amazing stay.
