It's quaint and the breakfast was nice, but communication was difficult. As a result, our group was charged for a room that wasn't available. Cancelling didn't help, it ended up about €30 more, even though the room was easily rented to someone else.

The main catch is the arrival time. Our very charming host only opens the property at 5:30 p.m., so you can't drop off your bags earlier and go explore. Her voicemail was full, too, so there was no way to leave a message. Breakfast is included, but I missed it by oversleeping, entirely my fault. It finishes at 10 a.m., and checkout is at 11. The property is charming and very well maintained, with a pool and easy access to the Seine banks for walks by day or at night, though take a flashlight. There are unusual boat-shaped beds, as well as more traditional rooms. Once you know about the small arrival-time inconvenience, it’s a peaceful and lovely place to stay.

I found the owner extremely dishonest. She’s very hard to reach by phone, and when I finally got through, she asked me to cancel because I couldn’t arrive before 7 p.m. She still kept the full room fee. The reviews mentioning her lack of friendliness ring true to me. Like many others, I’d advise avoiding this place.

The room was small and basic, but the B&B is beautifully placed right on the Seine. The hostess was very friendly, and breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from.
