That local honey has stayed with us, with its unusually strong flavor. It brings back the trip. We first came as four cycling couples, then my wife and I returned for another night on our own because we liked Le Moulin so much. Valarie and Jan made things easy and were attentive without fuss. They even offered to wash our cycling clothes. The old mill has been turned into a modern chambre d’hôte with real taste, and some of Jan’s photos decorate the roomy, well-kept rooms. Outside, there’s plenty of space in the quiet village, and the nights are very peaceful. Valerie’s food was tasty and made with local ingredients. We had dinner and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden, a lovely spot for both.

Even arriving at 9 pm, we got a very warm welcome and were shown around right away. We’d booked rooms for one night and were impressed by both the rooms and the surroundings. Breakfast was uncomplicated, with fresh food and delicious fruit. The family were friendly but discreet while we ate. It’s a beautiful, very quiet area.

The hosts were lovely and helpful, and the meal was very good. I was there for one night on a business trip, and the room was lovely and really comfortable. It’s a quiet location. I’d recommend it.

Everything had been thought through for our comfort, from the necessary linens and travel adapters to information about the area and restaurants. Our host hadn’t missed a detail, and we felt right at home. The woman who welcomed us looked after us with a smile and showed us a unique, peaceful place. It all made for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
