The Glycine apartment was spacious and just right for our two week stay with friends. We arrived on a chilly day to find they’d already lit the fire in our living room, which was much appreciated. The countryside location is lovely, near the Normandy beaches and Mont Saint Michel. Averill welcomed me and was chatty and helpful while our French was a bit rusty. The gardens are lovely, and there are cute cats too. I’d definitely recommend it!

Mrs. Gibson, who is originally from Ireland, gave us a warm welcome and takes great pride in her hospitality. She also prepares a hearty breakfast. We spent one night in an outbuilding of the manor. The room was large, with very warm, comfortable cotton sheets and very soft pillows. The mattress was a little too soft for me and could do with replacing.

The setting is lovely, and the two of us both really enjoyed our stay. We were warmly welcomed and had a delicious, plentiful breakfast in the beautiful main house. What could be nicer than eating in such a lovely room? We highly recommend it.
