Our hosts were especially attentive, with gifts when we arrived and little messages checking that everything was going well and that we had what we needed. The accommodation was impeccably clean on arrival and very well equipped, right down to a first-aid kit. It’s a beautiful place in an ideal spot on the Alsace Wine Route, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are two staircases, which could be an issue for people with reduced mobility or visual impairments. If we come back to Alsace, we’ll certainly contact our hosts again.

For our sisters’ weekend, we stayed at Mamema's, right in the center of Kintzheim on a quiet cul-de-sac. The apartment is clean, thoughtfully laid out, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. There’s even Netflix, and the beds were so good that I slept really well. The owner made sure not to be there when we arrived, and was very welcoming. A bottle of Crémant and some pretzels were waiting for us, such a nice touch! Lots of attractions and activities are nearby. Fantastic Airbnb, highly recommended!

Spacious rooms and good equipment, in a lovely, typically Alsatian place. It’s well positioned for visiting Alsace, the wine route, and the Christmas markets.

It was so peaceful, and the plush bedding made for a lovely stay. A bottle of sparkling wine was waiting as a gift, which was a nice touch. The traditional character is still there, with exposed beams and wattle and daub walls, alongside modern comforts, including Wi-Fi. It’s a typical Alsatian house spread over three floors, with the living quarters on the first floor. Getting in with the key box was very convenient, and the host was available by phone. There’s also a private parking spot in the cul-de-sac. Staying here reminded me of my grandmother’s house, though hers was in the Ardennes. A wonderful experience I’d love to repeat soon.
