We left feeling rested after a lovely evening and night. Stéphane and Jean-Jacques were so warm, thoughtful, and generous. We booked on Booking.com around 2:45 pm for that same evening, and by about 3 pm the hotel had already texted to confirm the reservation and check-in times. That felt really professional. Our two motorcycles were looked after when the owner helped us with parking. At dinner, we were offered a complimentary welcome drink of our choice. The Camembert platters were a real treat, packed so generously that we struggled to finish them. They came with charcuterie and, among other things, cooked ham that we still remember as the best we've had. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, with comfortable bedding. Before we left the next day, we were given coffee on the house. Jean-Jacques even brought us a towel to wipe down our motorcycle seats. We also bought a gift set of three wine bottles, which makes an excellent present. A big THANK YOU. Stéphane and Jean-Jacques, please keep the bar, tapas restaurant, hotel, and wine cellar just as they are, and stay the wonderful people you are!

Good wine was a lovely discovery, and the meal was generous and good quality. We were warmly welcomed, slept very well, and found it a friendly place to spend a weekend or longer. Sylvie and Alex will be very happy to come back!

My friends are regulars, but after an evening at this bar we were rudely told to leave just as we were paying and ordering one last round. We hadn't seen the waiter all evening because he'd been drinking with his friends at another table. The owner had served us throughout the evening and didn't step in to defend us. The waiter clearly runs the place. Avoid it, and spend your money at the guinguette farther down the road, where the setting is much nicer and the waiters are friendlier.

The room and setting were superb, and the charcuterie boards were delicious. We had a wonderful stay thanks to the owners' warm, welcoming manner. I'd highly recommend this place.
