Villa de L Eguille

We'd happily return to Villa de L'Éguille, even just to stay at the villa again. The welcome from Philippe, his wife, and their dog was a real highlight. We loved meeting them in the morning for coffee on their terrace and having a delicious breakfast. The location works really well for exploring the Royan region. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly, and we felt right at home. The peaceful grounds include a beautiful garden, and the rooms were immaculate and well equipped. The bedding was excellent, and we slept very comfortably.

We didn't get a chance to try the pool, but the owners were very friendly and the rooms were quiet. Our room was small, though it had what we needed: a little bottle of water in the fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and air conditioning if necessary. There's some traffic, but it was perfectly tolerable. Dogs are very welcome, with lots of space for them.

We got home safely after a wonderful stay. Philippe and his wife were kind, and the place felt very family friendly. We'll definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Come Monday, when we're back at work, we'll be thinking of you.

We spent three days here. The room was a little small, but comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. The peaceful, wooded park was lovely and relaxing. The couple were warm and caring, and breakfast was good. The whole house reflects the owners' philosophy: satisfy guests while offering undeniable value for money. You won't be disappointed. Thank you both very much, we really enjoyed our stay.
