The evening meal was on the level of a good restaurant, and breakfast was good too, though it could've had a little more protein, just a small quibble. The room was pleasant and nicely decorated. Our hosts were charming and gave us a very warm welcome. I'd have gone as high as 4.5 stars. Well worth the detour.

Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat. Our quiet, pretty room and the excellent meals, made with produce from the garden, were lovely too. They welcomed us in a friendly, professional way, and we could park the motorcycle in the courtyard.

The welcome and service were warm. The guest rooms are tastefully decorated in a beautifully renovated old building, right in the heart of a small village in the Forez region.

A lovely vegetable garden, and breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. The place is clean and tastefully furnished, with efficient, discreet, charming hosts. We highly recommend this cottage. An address worth remembering.
