There’s no indoor living room, just a covered spot with a big table and places to sit. That might work well in summer, but I’m less sure about winter. We were 15 family members, and the place didn’t really suit us. The kitchen is too small for several people to cook and eat together, and you have to pass through one bedroom to reach another, which isn’t practical. The utensils were all there, and the price felt in line with the amenities. What bothered me most was the restrictions the owner imposed during our stay. It seems better suited to young adults or small groups than to large families hoping to spend time together with children.

The area around Shikara is really beautiful, a lovely place to unwind and explore the region. Amandine and Fred made us feel very welcome, and it’s a friendly spot to get together. The room and accommodation were clean, and the prices were more than reasonable. I’d happily recommend it.

It’s a laid-back, informal guesthouse in an old little farmhouse. Amandine gives you a warm welcome, and if you opt for a meal, she makes simple, tasty food using vegetables from her garden.

The area is quiet, and the setting is especially good for bikers. We got a warm welcome, ate well, and slept well. It’s a cool place in summer. Thanks again, see you soon. The biker team ✌

Everyone there is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. If you’re comfortable staying in a group, it’s a good experience. I recommend it.
