Breakfast was served upstairs in the main room. Our big ground-floor room had a kettle and minibar, plus its own private bathroom. Everything was clean, the Wi-Fi was very good, and we slept comfortably. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the lovely chateau, dating from the late 1700s, has a nice garden with horses and a pond.

We found the chateau especially lovely for its countryside setting, with Foix, some amazing caves, and other sights nearby. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I haven't gone inside, but it looks beautiful from the outside.

Our dog was free to wander around and quickly made friends with the castle dogs, the horses, and the adorable donkey. The castle park was great for long walks with him, and we felt very, very comfortable there. Breakfast came in a truly unique atmosphere. The setting is historic, and our charming host was extremely friendly. The hospitality was first-class, and it's an exceptional place.
