Apartment With one Bedroom in La Baule-escoublac, With Wonderful City

The owners are charming and made me feel very welcome. The hotel suited me perfectly, with shops and other amenities close by, and it was near my aunt’s home. I’ll stay again on my next trip to La Baule. My solo room on the second floor was very clean, though small, and there’s no lift. Someone helped with my luggage. I had a double bed against the wall, plus a kettle, tea and coffee, and free wifi. It’s a very friendly family-run place.

A good location, helpful staff at check-in, and €350 for two nights was a reasonable price. But if you’re a light sleeper, this place really isn’t for you. I could hear other guests’ footsteps, snoring, conversations, and toilet flushing. It’s an old building, but I won’t stay again.

My room, The Cocoon, was small but had enough space for me. It was clean and quiet, and the hotel is about a five-minute walk from both the beach and grocery stores. There aren’t many rooms, and the host was friendly and helpful, with advice on things to do, places to visit, and restaurants to try. Breakfast was good quality too. I’d recommend staying here.

The rooms are on the small side, but they’re clean, organized, and have what you need. The hotel staff deserve a special mention for making me feel comfortable the whole time. A great experience!
