A really nice place.

Avoid this place. I can only agree with the negative comments about the poor relationship with the gîte managers. I booked for 30 people during lockdown and paid a €750 deposit. I couldn't move the booking or get my money back because the managers simply stopped replying to me, even after I got help from a consumer association and sent a formal demand. Extremely disappointed by the complete lack of communication!

I find this appalling and really unprofessional for landlords. The gîte was available when I first contacted the owners to book a weekend, and the initial exchange was fairly good. After they sent the documents and rental agreement, I tried several times to get more information by phone, text, and email, but got no response. Ten days later, all I received was a short email saying the gîte was no longer available, with no explanation. I strongly advise against it, even though I never actually set foot in the property.

We left the next day after a dreadful first night, and had to negotiate so we wouldn't pay for all three days. The poor soundproofing meant we could hear snoring throughout the cottage, and we barely slept. We had booked the gîte for a three-day wellness weekend with the veterans' walking club. It took two weeks after emailing the owners to secure the booking. Then, when it came to paying the deposit, they added 500 euros for linen and other extra charges. The place looked nothing like the website photos when we arrived. Cleanliness was appalling, and colleagues with asthma struggled to breathe because of the dust. The toilet doors wouldn't close, the fridge door wouldn't shut, and the bed frames weren't secured. There were also faulty electrical wires sticking out of the stereo system. With no other accommodation, we had to stay that first night, but it was a nightmare. The value for money was deplorable, even at this price. I strongly discourage anyone from booking this cottage. 😢😭🤢😠☠
