I’m extremely disappointed with how I was treated on the phone. On June 15, 2024, I called to ask whether we could see the chalet before booking. The man who answered was rude and said we couldn’t. I then asked a few questions to get ready for the stay, including when we planned to come. I said June 24-27. As soon as I hung up, I returned to Booking.com to finish the reservation, but the chalet was suddenly unavailable for those dates. It felt like he didn’t want us there, especially after hearing me speak French with an accent. I find this racist and deeply disappointing. If you don’t want foreigners staying at your chalet, you should have the courage to say so openly instead of being hypocritical. Avoid this place. I’ll go somewhere else and won’t stay at your chalet.

A simple, rustic chalet up in the mountains, with a lovely view and just a five-minute drive from the center of Bresse. If nature and a no-frills stay are your thing, you’ll be happy here.

The area was peaceful and pleasant, the weather was splendid, and there were lots of walks to choose from. The chalet itself was thoughtfully laid out and very well looked after, with a magnificent view. We were only there briefly, but I really enjoyed it.
