Fietsen In De Vogezen

The full refund was the one consolation in a really upsetting experience. After my daughter made the calls for me because I have had a laryngectomy and have a voice impairment, the owner's daughter took over, but I still felt my Booking.com reservation had been ignored. I cried and was very sad about it. I ended up having to turn around and drive home, a 200 km round trip, during a weekend in Corsican Gerarmer, with nowhere to stay. The owner said, "I'll refund you," but there wasn't a single room available there. My request through Booking.com had been disregarded, and the room description for the CORBEAUX hotel didn't match what I found. It says 9km from Gerarmer, which is nonsense, it's 14km, not even close. There was no TV, only internet access in the room and at the bar. The double bed and bathtub weren't as described. The shower was fine and there was a separate toilet, that's all. At €102, I was totally disappointed with the hotel service. They shouldn't take people for fools. It seems more like a place for families and motorcyclists. I found the owner tactless. My daughter is contacting Booking.com by email to report what happened.

The room was simple and clean, and breakfast was very good. We also got a warm welcome, and the location was convenient. Bravo for handling things professionally during Covid, and thanks to all three of you. Hurey Adrien and Charly
