The menu was tempting, and everything we ordered was prepared excellently. Service was prompt and polite, though it could have felt warmer. The hotel-restaurant is an attractive building tucked into a beautiful hillside setting, with forests and hiking trails just a few meters away. We could definitely come back. Just be ready for a longer drive on narrow, winding roads to get to Les Quelles.

For our department’s Christmas dinner, I chose this restaurant and we had a fantastic time. The calm setting makes it easy to forget everyday life for a while. Every dish was a delight, refined and generous, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end. A wonderful experience with a serene atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

The owners welcomed us so warmly, and we had a lovely time in the veranda, looking out over the clearing. After about two years away, my wife and I returned for the hotel-restaurant’s 100th anniversary and its special “Five Generations” menu. We chose the €49 menu for the occasion and really enjoyed it. We’ll be back soon to stay at the hotel and explore the surrounding countryside.

The restaurant really impressed me. The dishes were excellent, worthy of a gourmet restaurant, and breakfast was delicious. The owners also make their own liqueurs, and I recommend the gingerbread one. The kir-style liqueur with sparkling wine was amazing. Set in the mountains among fir trees and pastures, the hotel is wonderfully quiet, even inside. I felt completely at ease, and the comfortable rooms made for such good sleep. I loved it and definitely plan to return for a longer stay.

Especially good were their homemade dauphine potatoes, which practically melt in your mouth. The welcome was warm and the food excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
