Domaine la chapelle en Correze

There's lots to explore nearby, from runs and walks in the woods to drives out to lovely villages and a lake for swimming. The small campsite never felt like it would get too busy, and the hosts were wonderfully friendly. We camped there and then spent our last night in the chalet. A really lovely stay.

They made us feel like friends just passing through, with such a warm welcome from Vincent and Maud. The cottage was comfortable, had good bedding, and was very well equipped. They also gave us thorough information for exploring the region and all its different sides. Discovering the Domaine was a real pleasure. We'd gladly come back! Nathalie, Patrick, and the girls :-)

I found the pool clear and refreshing after a hard day, and the playing field kept my squires entertained. Around us, the woods were quiet except for the birdsong, which soothed my tired spirit. The lodges and homes were solidly made and comfortable, a welcome rest for my weary body after riding. During my quest, I stopped at the Domaine de la Chapelle in Corrèze to recover my strength and resolve, and it proved a fitting refuge for a knight of my standing. The estate covered many acres of peaceful land, like a retreat fit for the highest lords. The courteous locals saw the royal arms embroidered on my cloak and treated me with the respect due to a messenger of the sovereign. I only stayed a few days before duty called me elsewhere, but I would gladly return if the king sends me to these lands again. I have never seen a domain cleaner, better guarded, or more welcoming. I award it five stars, the most I can give, and hope people of renown learn that it is worthy of the noblest travelers.
