We spent a week here and had such a pleasant time. The hosts were kind and thoughtful, and their hospitality and attention to whatever we needed made the vacation feel special. We’d happily stay here again when we’re back in the area. Thanks!

Everyone could stay overnight, which mattered to us because we wanted guests to enjoy the party without having to drive home. We hosted 65 family members and friends from Friday until Sunday at noon for our son’s 18th birthday. The hall worked really well for that many people, with room to sit, dance, and enjoy the entertainment. The terrace and fire pit were a lovely extra. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Buffay, were welcoming and easy to reach when we needed something, but never intrusive. They stayed relaxed, which made organizing the event easier, and we had the freedom to celebrate in this little corner of paradise without disturbing nearby residents. The newly renovated cottages are lovely, and the ones still waiting for renovation were comfortable too. Everything was very clean. We’ll be back for another festive get-together. A lovely, quiet setting with plenty of things for a group to do, including hikes and a magnificent pool. We spent a wonderful weekend here with 40 people for a birthday. The cottages are comfortable, with everything provided for a good stay indoors and out, and the function room is great for a party. It would suit a family gathering, a seminar, a birthday, really any event, or even a couple looking for a cozy cottage. The owners were so welcoming and helpful with the planning. There are several rooms, plus plenty to do on the property: foosball, darts, volleyball, pétanque, and a pool that’s a real treat in summer. We rented the place for a birthday over several days, and everyone was delighted. It’s a peaceful, pleasant spot, and the owners were kind, attentive, and helpful. There’s a lake nearby, and La Chaise-Dieu and its abbey are worth seeing.
