The atmosphere was fantastic, and the hosts were lovely.

Getting out on all sorts of excursions from here is easy. The place itself is peaceful, beautiful, and well equipped, and the hosts are the best. Such a little paradise. Highly recommend it 👍🏼

We were about 20 minutes by car from both Poitiers and Futuroscope, so the location worked really well. The house had everything we could need, and the hosts were always friendly and happy to help if something else came up. We stayed in a village in the Vienne region near Poitiers, and a car is ideal for getting around. We had the breakfast they offered one day, and it was really good, complete, and prepared just right. There’s a supermarket nearby in Chauvigny, and I recommend the route there for seeing and crossing the beautiful Vienne River.

There’s room to relax alone or with a group, with tables, chairs, and sun loungers all around the grounds. Kitchens and barbecues are spread out too, and books are everywhere. The place also serves as a quiet retreat for writers and artists. Kids have a slide and swings, and there’s a pool and a garden full of produce: tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, lettuce, apples, pears, plums, mirabelle plums, and figs. The accommodation is spacious and spread across several farm buildings. The hosts are absolutely charming and attentive. It’s the classic French B&B idea, reimagined by Swedish owners, with a generous breakfast included, all at a very reasonable price.
