The welcome was friendly, but there were some frustrating surprises. The evening meal cost €45 per person, and nobody had told us that in advance. I also only heard English spoken. We were staying because of a construction project nearby, which wrapped up in two days instead of three. Even so, we were charged for all three nights, though no one was expected after we left.

I’d love to come back soon. It was such a relaxing stay in a lovely orchard, with swallows and tits enjoying the sunshine. The host is a former chef who really knows how to delight you. Thank you for a lovely experience.

The food was divine, and the farmhouse itself was magnificent. Too bad I only got to stay for one night.

Slept really well, ate very well, and got a top-notch welcome. Excellent!
